Greetings!
For the past nine months, it has been my great pleasure, and honor, to serve as Edinboro University’s interim president. From my first moments on campus last June, and continuing throughout the fall semester and now into the current spring term, there has not been a day when I haven’t been both amazed and impressed with the pride that permeates our campus.
The enthusiasm of faculty, staff and students, and alumni support, has been contagious. The willingness of every Edinboro constituency to work together for the common good of the University and for student success has helped us to collectively meet past challenges while preparing us for the challenges of the future.
It is also my honor to work with Edinboro’s president-select, Dr. Julie Wollman, as she prepares to assume her position as the University’s 17th President on June 1. I will leave Edinboro with fond memories of your dedication and commitment, knowing that under Dr. Wollman’s leadership, you and the University are well-positioned to meet and resolve all future challenges, and to move forward with continued great success. Great things do happen here because great people happen here, and I have been privileged to lead and be among those who have grown and developed here at Edinboro.
James D. Moran
Interim President
